Darjeeling Black Tea

High in the Himalayan Range, about 7000 feet above sea level, grows a unique type of black tea known as the Darjeeling Estate Tea. It is mostly grown in the Darjeeling area known as Mim found in the Northern region of India. The conditions in which this tea is grown are cool and misty which is different from the usual black teas that grow in places of humidity and heat. There is about 10,000 tons of this tea that are produced annually but it is said that almost four times that amount is sold and this is due to counterfeit or second-rate brands. It is for this reason that legitimate Darjeeling tea comes with a unique certification mark which a true lover of this tea should look for during purchase.
If you are cold, tea will warm you; If you are too heated, it will cool you; If you are depressed, it will cheer you; If you are excited, it will calm you.
Gladstone (1865) Victorian British Prime Minister
